Bishop Dositej of Serbian Orthodox Church will serve the Divine Liturgy in Friðrikskapella on Saturday, September, 24

On September, 21 (September, 8 of the Julian calendar) the Serbian Orthodox community in Iceland celebrate the parish feast (called 'Slava' in Serbian) – the Nativity of our Most Holy Lady the Mother of God and Ever-Virgin Mary.

On the occasion of this feast the Serbian Orthodox Bishop Dositej of Britain and Scandinavia will visit Iceland.

Bishop Dositej will celebrate the Divine Liturgy in Friðrikskapella on Saturday, September, 24. The Divine service starts at 10:00. All those who wish to share a joy of the feast with our brothers and sisters are invited.

On Sunday, September, 25, the Divine Liturgy will be served according the schedule in St.Nicholas Orthodox church (Oldugata 44). The Confession starts at 9:30. The Liturgy starts at 10:00.
